Ordos, located in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, is one of the biggest mining regions for high quality coals in China.

In June, a team from LiuGong paid a visit to one of the mines in Ordos, a LiuGong customer since 2008 when they purchased their first 50C. Now it has a fleet of more than 30 LiuGong wheel loaders including 856, 856H, 850H and 870H machines. During the summer months the weather is dry, and it has not rained in three months.

The first machine we bought from LiuGong was a 50C wheel loader in 2008 and we found that it was particularly durable.” Mr. Zhang stated, “So, we purchased LiuGong’s 856, 856H and 850H successively and they have never let us down. LiuGong’s equipment is good! Although there is other manufacturers’ equipment used in the mine, the loaders are mainly all LiuGong.

In 2017, the company intended to expand the business and considered replacing larger equipment. Due to the good experiences they had in the past and their faith in LiuGong, they bought 10 units of LiuGong 870H.

With many years’ experience, Mr. Zhang, the manager at the mine, is quite capable of managing so much equipment. His biggest concerns are the machines’ working efficiency, reliability and the after-sales service. Along with his satisfaction with LiuGong’s efficiency and reliability, he is also satisfied with LiuGong’s service. Over the years, LiuGong’s service personnel have kept in close contact with the mine and can always give quick responses when the maintenance or service is required.

No matter how efficient of the loader is, it is just a pile of steel when it breaks down. LiuGong’s fast response speed has solved this problem.” Mr. Zhang once again stressing the importance of the after-sales service.

Mr. Zhang mentioned that the LiuGong loaders undertook the coal loading and transshipment in the mining area. The equipment works for anywhere from 12to 24 hours a day and they only stop when the workers eat and rest.

 After 1+ years’ use, LiuGong 870H is one of the most used and the most efficient machines in the mining area.

The production output of two LiuGong 870H loaders equals that of four 5-ton loaders and the fuel consumption of 870H is similar to that of the of 5-ton or 6-ton loaders, so the total cost saved in one year is quite considerable.

The 870H is a new generation machine from LiuGong. The machine has larger capacity and higher efficiency with lower fuel consumption than others in its class. The ergonomic design empowers the machine with super maneuverability and makes the operator comfortable even after long working hours. It helps the users who are challenged to do more with less even under the most extreme working conditions.
